WFM Consultant

Summary

Summary:

The WFM Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager. Project responsibilities include; gathering customer requirements, configuring the system to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.

 

Responsibilities:

Be a SME for specific functional areas for both internal and external users

Document and validate customer’s business requirements

Contribute to internal knowledge share; review posted

Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables

Feedback on a continuous basis and respond to questions

Configure the application to meet customer’s documented business requirements

Be comfortable conducting work sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document with meeting minutes

Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise

Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces

Work with customers to implement using the Infor Implementation Accelerator and Agile methodology

Contribute to internal Implementation initiatives

Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository

Document best practices and conduct knowledge transfer sessions internally and externally

         

What you will need:

  • Undergraduate degree level, or equivalent work experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant project management lifecycles and significant experience in project management, software implementation and/or consulting.
  • Experienced with change management and project planning practice.
  • Sound understanding of business environments and the interdependencies between business processes and information systems.
  • High standard of professional behavior and well-honed client-facing presentation skills.
  • Experience in the remediation of remediating troubled projects.
  • Ability to travel for key milestones and as required.
